Here's where we are staying.
The place where we are staying is a group of apartments renovated from a 14th century hamlet. It is very, very high up on a hill.

Today we visited a cemetery--many of the headstones had photos on them.

Cortona is a relatively small city but it is the biggest place that you can actually find on a map that is closest to where we are staying. We walked around a lot today and did some shopping. Eliana liked the funky gelato storefront, and I liked the shop called 'Eliana,' where I bought a scarf.

The views are beautiful. We've had a couple of wonderful meals and some great wine. The roads make me incredibly nervous (hairpin turns that are very, very high up with no guardrails) but other than that, we are having a wonderful time. We head off to Siena tomorrow.
